Improve Girls' Education in Ethiopia

MHO is women-headed a non-governmental, organization established in 2011 with the mission of Empowering and changing the personal-social, and economic status of all women and children of Ethiopia who live in poverty by giving them opportunities and support which lead to development.  MHO was founded by a role model woman, who had long served in Ethiopia Red Cross.  She is currently considered by many Ethiopian as a 'mother' to Ethiopia's most vulnerable kids. . Since its establishment, the organization has implemented programs /projects mainly focusing on addressing the felt needs of targeted women and children. For nearly more than one decade the organization has performed commendable jobs providing both institutional and community-based support to orphan and vulnerable children and destitute women. Due to the multifaceted current problem in Ethiopia currently, MHO has implemented programs /projects mainly focusing on addressing the felt needs of targeted women and children. To address these unmated needs MHO has tried its best to mobilize resources and solicited funds through a GlobalGiving platform by Posting three projects entitled “Improve Girls' Education in Ethiopia “with Project #52328
However, the project entitled “Improve Girls' Education in Ethiopia with Project #52328” with project #53118 not raised enough money in reporting period to implement stated activists to achieve the desired objectives.

We note with pleasure have attained the desired outcomes and impacts in the other projects in this reporting

Challenges in Reporting Period

• Not utilize the potential of   the 2022 GivingTuesday campaign platform  for fundraising
• The project is not well promoted on social media

With two in five girls married by 18 and one in five girls married by 15, many never get a chance for a full education. Your Donatioddress Girls' Education needs, and has improved poor and underprivileged girl access to education in Ethiopia by providing educational support, provision of educational material, accommodation/transport, and female hygiene and empowering them through girl clubs in school for collective action  

In this reporting period by your donation new 100 children and including poor girls were provided with educational material supplies including, clothing, medical services, feeding service (school meals), counseling, and socialization services, and enabling highly vulnerable children's attend their school without any problem. This is only possible because of the support of special individuals and foundations who provide the funds to reach out to these poor girls   Besides MHO are on the ground alongside poor children in rural school  whatever it takes to ensure to ensure every child has access to education by providing them with necessary educational materials and support
