Lighthouse of Knowledge 2022

Dear friends, dear donors,

First of all, We wish you a Happy and prosperous New Year.

We are happy to present you this, third report, and to let you all know about our progress in this Project. Since we last wrote you we have completed the main part of the sixth generation of the project Lighthouse of knowledge for 2022.

From our last report we have finalized educations for our participant and held Closing seminar in which top six teams presented their projects to the professional jury which decided the winner of Lighthouse of Knowledge 2022. The winner was the team from Bajina Bašta with their project “BAŠ taj korak” which aim is to increase the awareness of the citizens of Bajina Bašta about the importance of healthy mobility of the population. Through their activities - educative workshops, installation of parking for bicycles, sports and recreational competitions and promotions – they will try to improve the mobility of the population and reduce air pollution and therefore contribute to the creation of conditions for encouraging residents to have healthy mobility and movement.

In the future period we will make thorough analysis based on the received feedbacks from the participants, partners and organization team, and based on such finding start the preparation for the next generation in 2023.

We, at ASK, strongly believe that, partnered with all of you, we have performed a great work and that we will achieve even more together.

We are happy to present you this, second report, and to let you all know about our progress so far and our plans for upcoming year.

Since we last wrote you have invested a lot of money, time and energy and we can all be proud on what we accomplished together. We have also remained committed to hard work and constant learning and we maintained recognitions we were awarded previously.

Since our last report we had the following activities:

• We have found 15 teams from different cities in Serbia with total of 60 participants for this year project
• We had Opening Seminar in Subotica where these teams and its members had introductory courses
• Currently the online educational program is executed which consist of 9 seminars (8 alrady done), preparation of project ideas, three partner meetings and three check-ups of the progress - one remaining

For the next period we have to perform Closing seminar on which top six teams will present their projects to the professional jury which will decide about the winner of Lighthouse of Knowledge 2022.

We, at ASK, strongly believe that, partnered with all of you, we have performed a great work and that we will achieve even more together.
