Empowering NGO Workers with Mental Health Training.
Behind every thriving community are the people who care — the frontline workers who give their time, energy, and hearts to support others. But who supports them?
Recognizing this urgent need, we launched a vital training program focused on the importance of mental health and the resources available across Egypt. The training targeted workers in local NGOs — the very individuals who are often pillars of support in marginalized communities yet are too often overlooked themselves.
This program wasn’t just about raising awareness; it was about building resilience. Participants learned how to care for their own mental well-being, recognize signs of distress in themselves and others, and connect families to the growing network of mental health services in Egypt. They left not only better equipped to help others — but stronger, healthier, and more empowered themselves.
In communities where stigma still clouds the conversation around mental health, these NGO workers are now the champions of change — breaking barriers, opening hearts, and offering lifelines to those silently struggling.
When we invest in mental health, we invest in hope. When we empower those who serve, we lift entire communities.
With your support, we can expand this critical training, reaching more frontline heroes and touching even more lives across Egypt.
Together, we can turn care into action — and action into lasting change.
