Public Speaking......it can be a scary thought for many. The Carrot Project was lucky enough to find an amazing instructor who gave our youth the confidence and tools to do just that....GIVE A SPEECH. He allowed them to find interesting ways to gather their thoughts, fine tune their ideas and take it in front of the class. Throughout the class the students were able to give "mini" speeches to their classmates in preparation for the larger final speech. Not only did each participant find their voice in front of the classroom, they found their voice among friends. Many of these students who participated were from surrounding school districts which gave them the opportunity to meet new people. Our public speaking curriculum gave youth guidance and positive reinforcement that will ensure their lifelong confidence in front of an audience.
We are hoping to share more classes such as these in the upcoming months. We believe that with every opportunity a child has, it brings them one step closer to achieving their very best.
Watch our Facebook page for upcoming classes, progress on our giving program, music lessons, coding classes, community enrichment programs and much more.
If you believe what we are doing is important make sure to share it and invite your friends to talk about it. The more we come together as a community, the stronger we become. Thank you to all of our supporters you make the difference.
