To all of our supporters,
Thank you so much for your continued support. 2017 is ending yet our programming continues. We are currently in process of our wonderful club called Girls Who Code. We were lucky enough to have two incredible instructors who are volunteering their time from September - February. One of our instructors is a Fox Valley Technical College IT instructor who decided to come on board and help promote computer science for our organization.
Girls who code is a national club that allows girls to learn concepts such as loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages.
Our organization provides a safe and supportive environment for the girls, which promotes success, confidence and new friends.
During these classes the broad set of skills taught include: Teamwork, time management, communication, and organization skills.
We appreciate everyone's continued support so that we can grow and provide more classes in 2018.
As always, feel free to help spread the word regarding our center and what we are trying to accomplish.
Thank you again,
Carissa
