There are about 500,000 people diagnosed with cancer in Nigeria annually. Majority of them are immuno-suppressed which means that if they are infected with the Corona virus there are very likely to be severe complications or even death.
Many of cancer patients in Nigeria cannot afford the treatment so adding the cost of masks to that will be an added hardship.
This is the reason for St Cyril Foundation's #maskupcancerpatients mini project to provide masks for 5000 people.
We have provided masks for patients in 7 cancer treatment centers across Nigeria. We have only partially covered 5 out of the 36 States in Nigeria
Please support us by sending this link https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/mask-up-cancer-patients-nigeria/ to all your friends and relations.
Help us to reach our goal of 5,000 masks for cancer patients in Nigeria
Thank you so much,
Moji Animashaun
