Medical Kit for 700 Children living in Cemetery

Dear Project Supporters,

We want to thank all of you for giving so generously to support the medical supplies for the children living at the Cemetery in Pasay, Philippines.

Last 3 months, our local coordinator went to visit the cemetery several times to discuss about donation, the prime need and the way of distribution.

On Dec 7 and 28, on two separate occasions, we managed to give the medical supplies to the Cemetery’s children as follows;

500 children got the 2 antibacterial Masks of each, 400 children have a bottle of the chewable Vitamin, young children received the liquid Vitamin and 300 families took the small Medical Supplies (including ointment for skin wounds) and First aid Kits in the Cemetery.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to health check-up in the hospital cause of COVID-19 so we provided Vitamin to much more children instead.

Krissa is one of the children who received the medical supplies. She is 10 years old and lives with mom and young sister in the Pasay Cemetery. They were drifted here and there but had nowhere to go and then came to Cemetery last year.

Local coordinator asked to her about the playing on the tomb. She answered that “I do play every day here on the cemetery and openly stumble over a grave and fall down or get the cut on the body. It’s really painful to me.” But she didn’t have the birth registration and citizen card that means she couldn’t go to medical center(hospital) and drug store too expensive to her. So, she just waits till to heal the wound. her mom said “At times like this, I hope she get well without wound infection.”

After got the Vitamin and medical kits, she just says with smile brightly,

“I really appreciate your helping. I will be healthy and growing well. Thank you so much.”

 Again, Thank you for your helping.

It could be of great service to increase the children’s immunity, protect them from disease and contribute to healthy growth.

And we will provide ongoing support to them, the children in the Cemetery.
