Project Report | Dec 21, 2022
Greeting from the Cemetery in Philippines(6th)

By Soyeon Lee | Project Contributor

Hello

This is U9change staff who is staying in the Philippines!

Sponsor, how are you doing?

Thank you very much for your interest and support during 2022. I wish you all the best in 2023.

We are ready to enjoy Christmas.

This time many people visit tourist attractions in the Philippines. but not many people visit cemetery village.

This is because this village is not accessible at night and is exposed to the risk of drugs and diseases. Nevertheless, they have no money to rent rooms in other villages, so they are living in a hut by the grave.

The residents are living in a difficult environment, but the children are still smiling. Children play between tombstones.

I can often see children playing soccer bravely. Watching children running around gives me strength, too.

I'm trying to take good care of the children.

I am delivering multivitamin, skin ointment. And I'm teaching the alphabet to kids who don't go to school.

The children of the cemetery village are striving for a better future, although they are living in poor conditions.

Thank you so much for your support for children to protect their health.

Let me introduce my favorite picture of Belden smiling.

I will definitely forward it to you when Belden can write a letter herself.

♥Have a happy Christmas and happy new year♥
