The COVID-19 Pandemic drastically impacted global health, economies, and social systems. But perhaps less visibly, it profoundly affected mental health, especially among the youth. In Rwanda, the disruption of daily life, isolation, uncertainty, and loss resulting from the pandemic left many young people struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
In response to this growing crisis, our team initiated a Mental Health Awareness Project targeting 500 youth across Rwanda. This project is designed to equip young people with the knowledge, tools, and support systems to manage their mental health, rebuild resilience, and foster emotional well-being.
Given the urgency and importance of mental health among Rwandan youth, we seek support from Donors and Funding agencies to fund workshops, counseling services, and educational materials. individuals and well-wishers to contribute financially or through volunteering. Your support will empower 500 young people with the resilience and coping skills they need to thrive despite the lingering effects of the pandemic.
The mental health of Rwanda's youth cannot wait.
With timely support, we can expand this project, reach hundreds more young people, and build a stronger, healthier future generation. Together, we can break the stigma, create safe spaces for dialogue, and offer hope and healing where it is needed most.
We invite you to stand with us in this critical mission.
