Over the first seven months of 2021, Yoga 4 Change has successfully remained on a hybrid platform; offering classes both in-person and virtual. We have hired on two new Full Time staff member and six new Part Time Lead Teachers across the state of Florida. This is huge growth for our organization as we continually impact more individuals with over 65 classes per week and expand our mission and brand awareness to the community at large. We appreciate you all for being a part of our community!
As you may know, Yoga 4 Change collects data from all participants both before and after every class. We ask participants to rate their stress, mood and pain levels to show real-time impact. Throughout our seven years of programming, we have found a significant increase in mood and significant decreases in pain and stress occur after one yoga class. This is particularly important in today's climate with the pandemic and social distancing leading to an increase in loneliness and isolation. Our proprietary curriculum offers physical and mental health resources such as physical movement, breathing exercises, mindfulness practices and meditation that individuals can use both on and off the mat, as well as in their daily lives. Because of your support, more individuals have greater access to these physical and mental health resources.
