Westcliff Rotary contnues to support the Mushroom Theatre with grateful donations from GlobalGiving and regular volunteering sessions during events.
They contnue to develop their theatre and now have an excellent third studio for smaller events and social evenings. As well as additional studio space, this new studio, when combined with an existing studio, can provide a small theatre space for performances. Lighting and seating are next on the agenda and expansion has been phenominal with new members arriving every week. They have great interaction with local schools due to enhanced facilities.
A key part of what Mushroom Theatre do is integrating disabled students with their non-disabled peers. This approach is beneficial to everyone and provides an excellent opportunity for development of social interaction.
