When Little Yang’s mother was working in a language school, she and Little Yang ‘s father got married because they met and knew each other. During the marriage, they had Little Yang alone, but after his father died of suddenly asthma, his mother and Little Yang lived with her parents' family till now!
Little Yang was born in July 2012. He is a handsome mixed-race boy. When he was five years old, he was diagnosed as developmental delay due to delayed language development, abnormal sensory integration, inappropriate social emotional behaviors, attention deficit and his early intervention began.
After being referred to our association in 2018, in addition to providing family care and support during the five-year period, we encouraged them to participate in the parent-child activities of therapeutic groups. Little Yang looked better than other peers of the same age in terms of body size and physical fitness. Although his language skills were improved, he has many provocative words, causing quarrels between his peers. After a few years of practice, not only the skills of skates-rolling have improved, but also the social and emotional behaviors, and also the learning of restraint in the group, and gradually make good friends among peers.
As a divorced mother, work is extremely hard. Because accompanying little Yang to counsel study and guide his behavior, she cannot become a full-time office worker. She felt physically and mentally exhausted. Whenever the mother encounters parenting difficulties, she will discuss with the parents who have participated in the roller-skates class, they supported each other and shared the experience. Help and support her on this Little Yang path of intervention and upbringing.
