Over the last few months, NR has had the opportunity to meet with two community groups who are already working with Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVC) in their areas. As we began the process of looking for groups that we could partner with, one of our biggest requirements was that they were already doing this so that all we would be doing is coming alongside them to help empower and support the work that is already being done. We were very encouraged by our meetings with both of these groups! One of the groups has the potential to reach over 100 OVC with our empowerment and support and the other is already working with 60 OVC. We think that both of these groups have a lot of potential and now will begin the beginning stages of vetting each of them to ensure that we are the best match for them and that they are willing and able to work with our sustainability model. We are thrilled that this means we are one step closer to having two new community groups to work with!
