Cosmas primary goal is thus to enable the children of the most vulnerable households – especially those who cannot access resources – to participate in agriculture so as to access education sponsorship and vocation skilling, while building the families’ capacity to become self-reliant in financing their education.
The beneficiaries of this program determined by local leadership including VC group executives, in addition to screening by the Cosma program team. The program activity funded by returns from the agriculture production and financing program, with consultation and approval from Cosmas partners.
As of this quarter one Cosma has paid school fees to a total number of 16 for children in the previous term.
Including the university student Lubega constantine who just enrolled for medical nursing and midwifery at Mbarara university
