By Silvia Pencu | Project Leader
Today we want to introduce you to Sahra, a 29 year old woman from South Sudan, who despite juggling with different responsibilities and difficulties, finds the strength and passion to give back to society. She wants to empower women in self-reliance, teaching them financial accountability and management skills, in order to help them understand how to run a business, save money, and deal with finances efficiently. On a larger scale, she hopes to play an active role in ending the corruption that’s occurring in her country’s public sector, by setting up methodologies for managing resources based on evidence.
Thanks to your generosity, Sahra is able to continue her studies, and get closer to achieving a bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance, at Cavendish University. If you want to know more about her, you can access her full story on our blog!
Thank you for constantly helping us support women around the world!
