We are grateful for the support that has brought us closer to realizing our vision of a Comprehensive Cancer Treatment Center in Nigeria. As of now, we have raised $362.62, a crucial step towards addressing the significant gap in cancer treatment in our country.
However, despite this progress, our journey has been halted due to limited funding. With only six centers equipped with functional radiotherapy machines in Abuja, Lagos, and Enugu, Nigeria falls short of the International Atomic Energy Management Agency's recommendation of one radiotherapy machine per 1 million people. To bridge this gap and enhance cancer treatment capabilities, we urgently need additional funding.
We kindly appeal for your continued support and generosity. Your contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our goal. We also encourage you to share this cause with your network, as collective efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients in Nigeria.
