Journey of Sufiyan

Sufiyan is a child who has changed significantly since his association with the OSCAR Foundation. Sufiyan is a specially-abled child, both deaf & mute. OSCAR took Sufiyan for an Audiometry test where it was found that he needs a prescribed hearing aid which would markedly help him. With the support of generous sponsors, we arranged for a hearing aid which has helped him to proactively participate in OSCAR Football sessions. Armed with confidence he now regularly attends school and is very focused on his studies and football sessions.

Sufiyan’s mother is in complete awe of his transition. She is very emotional and grateful for all the support OSCAR has shown her son.

“Nowadays of his own volition Sufiyan goes to school regularly, works hard at home and attends OSCAR football sessions. Since Sufiyan has started using the hearing aid his school teachers and tuition teachers are always praising him for being such an attentive and obedient child. They also tell me that Sufiyan is very smart when compared to his classmates and he will thrive in the future.”
