Having their very own new pajamas means a lot to kids in foster care! Comfort Cases, Inc. is proud to report that 7,421 sets of pajamas have been distributed to children in foster care from June 30 to October 2024. The pajamas and other items contained in Comfort Cases help children in foster care know that they are loved and valued by their communities. Unfortunately, many children in foster care are given trash bags to carry their possessions, an all-too-common practice that sends a negative message to these children. Being able to have their own belongings and appropriate luggage in which to carry them helps these children as they navigate new foster care placements.
Since its inception, Comfort Cases has served over 250,000 youth in foster care by providing them with Comfort Cases and/or Comfort XL duffels. In 2024, the distribution goals are 45,000 Comfort Cases and 25,000 Comfort XLs. The organization receives many heartfelt messages of support from partner agencies.
