The Gift of the Givers is making remarkable progress in restoring parts of Al-Shifa'a Hospital in Gaza. As the largest medical complex in the region, Al-Shifa'a served as more than just a healthcare facility - it was a beacon of hope, providing shelter to displaced civilians while delivering critical medical services during a period of intense bombardment.
Despite the severe structural damage caused by the attacks, which forced widespread evacuation, the hospital's rehabilitation is now progressing steadily thanks to the dedicated efforts of our team. This restoration project goes beyond physical reconstruction; it embodies the community's unwavering determination to rebuild its essential health infrastructure. When completed, the renovated Al-Shifa'a Hospital will restore vital medical services to the entire northern Gaza Strip, with modernised facilities equipped to handle emergencies and provide comprehensive specialist care across a range of medical specialties.
Our mobile charity kitchen keeps rolling out aid, delivering fresh meals straight to Gaza’s streets, ensuring displaced families aren’t left hungry in these trying times. With thousands of meals already served, this project remains a beacon of relief and resilience, bridging the gap where aid remains scarce, offering sustenance and hope when resources are stretched thin.
Our team in Gaza distributed new Eid clothes to children - a simple gesture that brought joy to young lives devastated by more than 18 months of war. In the midst of ongoing trauma and loss, these vibrant outfits do more than celebrate tradition: they restore dignity and provide a psychological respite from unrelenting hardship.
