Fall 2010 update
The High Atlas Foundation is currently working on developing its plan of action for the field-based participatory training in the Tifnoute valley, and it will start the implementation of this project on January 2011.
HAF identified and selected the beneficiaries of this training: 12 elected municipal officials and 43 village association leaders from the rural commune of Toubkal, along with five community members who have demonstrated a high level of dedication to community development projects in previous HAF-sponsored initiatives.
Under the guidance of Dr. Yossef Ben-Meir, HAF’s President, Lillian Thompson, a specialist in participatory development, developed the training manual which will be translated to Arabic and used during the field-based participatory training in Tifnoute.
If you are looking for a significant gift to give this holiday season please consider supporting this training project which will make so much possible for the communities of the Tifnoute valley.
