Hello Donors,
Hearfelt words from one of the students who is using a Pedal Power for Kenyan Education bicycle:
"My High School journey started with the toughest setbacks ever. I was called to join St. Mathias Busia Secondary School, 23 kilometers away from my home. Given my humble background, I would begin trekking from 4am for 3hours. At first, I would always nurse my swollen legs and miss school quite often. This went on until around three months when I now got used to it. I would like to thank Madam Hellen Mukanda in particular and Grow Against Poverty Kenya/USA for donating the Pedal Power Bicycles. This is the best gift ever. I used to arrive in school dusty, smelling sweat and miss the morning lessons taught between 6.30 to 7.30am. Importantly, I improved my performance from a D student to now C."
Your contributions are making life better for this student and for the other 99 girls and boys who are part of this program.
Thanks!
