Diversified Learning Project for Placed Children

My name is Hanson, I was not able to find a suitable job because of health issue. However, I attended "Yes! I Can! Career Empowerment Project", and it helps me find a good job!

In the project, instructor led us to do self-exploration and self-introduction. We students know more about oueselves and learned from others in this part. This project includes financial management training. We know how to manage budget and some finance know-how in the training. It is good for us to know how to use our money sufficiently.

Besides, we learn how to edit our own resume and short clip of self-introduction in the project. In fact, I hate to stand in front of camera and wanted to run away from this part, so I was not able to finish my own short video. Yet, I finally did it with instructor and social worker's help! It is not easy for me but Im am happy I complete it!

The special part in the project is we need to plan and conduct 2 days cycling trip on our won! The instructor guided us how to plan the route, how to manage the budget, and how to make the schedule on time in order to let all team arrive the camping site before night! We have learned a lot from the trip!

In this project, I have learned basic skills on job interview. Also, I have experienced and dealt with thing I don't like with positive attitude. In the cycling trip, I developed my skill on communications, team work, and financial management!

After the training, I gain a job through social worker's assistance! Now I am working almost 3 months! I am glad that I attend the project! It helps me to find a job which fits my health condition! I treasure it and want to keep it on!
