Singing to support each other
Singing can express emotions, and one can feel each other's support by singing together. The long-lost singing competition at the Mustard Seed Youth Home is finally held again! It let the children learn from the experience of organizing activities in the Youth Home and feel the game presence.
Good voice starts the singing
Before the start of the competition, every teenager worked hard to train his courage. They were nervous and expectant, hoping to win the title of champion singer for their Home. Whether it is a brisk and dynamic style or a lyrical and romantic style, the teenagers have their own abilities to show their best songs, and sometimes a surprising and unexpected style, which makes the judges and the children laugh again and again.
The jury composed of residential assistant teachers, strictly and conscientiously conducts scoring and commenting, and it makes the players on the stage even more nervous. The teachers and teenagers watching by the side continued to cheer for the teenagers on the stage, hoping they could sing bravely and give themself confidence!
Bravely stand on stage
After all, there will be winners and losers in the competition. The previous champion Jeremiah continued to win the singing competition. The second and third places Jack and Leon, who showed their humility and were praised. The teenagers also began to look forward to the next competition.
The Youth Home applauded each child participating in the competition and let them know that the purpose of the activity is to create an opportunity to show courage. Let the children learn from standing on the stage, even if there is no one to accompany them, they can support themselves to overcome fear by deep feeling of their own existence and self-confidence, just like in the future stage of life, they must be independent and brave to create excitement.
Accompanying children to happy learning and giving back
The Youth homes accompany and take care of children injured by their birth family or growth environment, be their friends, and help and guide them to regain their self-confidence; the singing contest allows the children to feel that they also can have happiness, and hope that in the future, the children like these donors who silently contribute to the Youth Home, could give back to the society.
