We built a playground with 12 play elements, a football and a volleyball field for the students of Mubuga G.S. school and all other children in the region.
We also created a garden where we planted many fruit trees and vegetables so children can learn about agriculture and nature preservation. The vegetables will also be used to make lunch for the students.
Now the 842 students and many other children who are mostly child labours in the villages around have access to this playground. The Mubuga G.S school will be maintaining and repairing this playground with support from us.
In this sustainable project around 80% of the metal we used was upcycled, we also utilized 103 used tires.
