Dear Supporters,
It's been a while and we are sorry we have been quiet. Sadly our much loved conservation manager, Anna, died in a car accident at only age 32. It's been a huge loss for the conservation community and the team have been carrying on but resources are tight.
Our team continue to respond to poaching emergencies and spend hours monitoring and protecting the many reserves, we have a few rhino's in our sanctuary that have been rescued but as mentioned before we purposely so not open our sanctuary to tourists as we minimise human interaction so we can re-introduce them to the wild once they are ready.
Last month with your donations we managed to keep up all our anti-poaching efforts which included food for our K9's, adding more race horses to our fleet of protectors and maintaining our communications across the province. Without your donations we wouldn't be here and neither would the rhinos as the poaching is getting worse.
We also did some outreach events and welcomed a primary school group to a reserve to learn about the amazing wildlife right on their doorstep, this is such an important part of our program as these children will need to protect them in the future.
As we get back on track we are fundraising again and asking people if they would like to donate we will make sure these funds go into the stuff Anna loved to work on as part of our team., may she rest in peace and we thank you for your support
