We've just wrapped up another successful July Bonus Day on GlobalGiving—thanks to you!
We raised $9,425 in donations towards buying a 4WD vehicle and with matching funds from GlobalGiving this becomes $12,395. We had additional donations come in yesterday and today which brings our final total to $13,183. This means we're almost half way to our funding goal of $29,360!
During July Bonus Day, a total of 26 donors contributed and 2 new monthly donors signed up. Monthly donations mean we can count on funds coming in every month. This year, GlobalGiving is offering a one-off match after 4 months and will double the donation on the 5th month.
We urgently need an all-terrain vehicle for our medical outreach program. This type of vehicle can handle the terrain on our monthly trips to mountainous regions in Bali where we deliver outreach medical services and food donations. Currently, we rent small pickup trucks but they can't handle steep grades and dirt tracks. Our staff often have to walk long distances on steep, slippery or rocky roads carrying lots of heavy equipment and supplies
