68 More Families Helped!

By Chris Rudd | Project Coordinator

Dear partners,

Thank you so much for the generous donations in recent months. 2020 has certainly been a crazy year that has brought about many challenges and hardships for people around the world. We sincerely thank you for your generosity in these difficult times!

Through your gifts, we have been able to provide water filters to an additional 68 families. This will provide free and safe drinking water for over 250 people! Each of these families have a hard time providing for their basic daily needs and using their limited resource to obtain safe drinking water is a burden that has now been lifted from them.

Mrs. Ayah is a widow with no family members to help care for her. She used to work at the local market selling vegetables and made just enough money to barely meet her daily needs. However, since COVID-19 has caused many stalls in the market to shut, she has been unable to work and make money. She depends totally on the mercy of those around her for her needs to be met. When she received a ceramic water filter, she was moved to tears and thanked our team. She was so amazed that people from the other side of the world would care about her condition and help provide her with clean water.

Thank you for the difference you are making.

Sincerely,

Chris Rudd and the Pelita Indonesia team
