Today more than ever, Enseña por Panamá works to promote quality education in every corner of the country. In 2020 we managed to directly impact the lives of more than 1,900 students and 2,000 teachers of the official system. With the experience and learnings of five years, last year we transformed ourselves to respond to the new educational challenges through three lines of action:
We are going for much more! Working together, we are getting closer to achieving our mission: a quality education for all children and adolescents in Panama.

Our latest training sessions are called "My Active Classroom: training in socio-emotional skills and active learning environments ”. We teach trategies to strengthen the socio-emotional skills and leadership of teachers and students of the Panamanian educational system. Strategies to promote the design of active learning environments in the different classroom modalities.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
Teachers understand and internalize the importance of their role within the educational system to take action as leaders of it.
Teachers develop strategic and systems thinking skills to work collaboratively as well as actively participate in their educational communities.
Teachers reflect on the management of their emotions, thoughts and feelings on a personal, social and educational system level to communicate assertively.
Teachers incorporate into their personal and professional practices tools to internalize socio-emotional skills that allow them to impact their environment on a personal and social level, especially that of their educational community.
Teachers understand the importance of student-centered learning in order to strengthen the learning environment in their classroom.
Teachers recognize and apply teaching strategies to promote active learning in their classroom modalities.
Teachers reflect on the characteristics of an innovative professional in education.
