Provide quality education to 1750 youth in Panama

Today more than ever, Enseña por Panamá works to promote quality education in every corner of the country. In 2023, we are directly impacting the lives of more than 3150 students in more than 45 different school in more than 6 different regions. 

With the experience and learnings of five years, we transformed ourselves to respond to new challenges through three lines of action:

• Educational Leadership Program (ELP)

It is a 350-hour program training and accompaniment for strengthen the leadership of educational agents and generate a collaborative network of committed professionals with the education of Panama.

• Teacher training 

Short trainings, free and directed to teachers from all over the country who wish to learn new methodologies and pedagogical tools that strengthen the lessons from their students.

• Educational initiatives 

Educational projects with very goals specific and aligned to our mission: quality education for all children, girls, and young people Panama.

The ELP, our flagship program, is 350 free hours of certified training and endorsed by the Ministry of Education. It includes training and personalized accompaniment during the two years of the program. We are building a national network of educational leaders for

exchange learning and enhance impact, that has over 84 alumni, with students inside and outside the classroom classes. There are many international training opportunities and

development in the 60 countries that are part of the Teach for All network.

In these 8 years, we have had over 124 teachers in more than 7 regions, who have positively impacted more than 15,000 students. Currently we are working with more than 45 teachers in the ELP. 

Our successes

• 75 Alumni ExP (graduates from the Educational Leadership Program).
• 83% of the Alumni are promoters of the program and the organization.
• Around 3,500 teachers trained for free throughout the country.
• In 2020, we received certification as a training body from the Ministry of Education. This allows us to develop training for teachers of the official system endorsed by MEDUCA.
• More than 600 educational materials created to strengthen the learning and development of students and teachers in Panama.
• With the support of our educational allies, we promote education in home through free materials that seek to solve the needs of students and teachers across the country. The materials have been downloaded more than 350,000 times.
• 58 audiovisual capsules to promote affectionate and sensitive care in the early childhood. With the support of UNICEF Panama, we generate capsules that have been viewed more than 150,000 times.
