Welcome to 2022!

Reinvented Inc. has officially entered a brand new year and we are so excited to share all of our plans with you!

So far, we’ve started off the year strong! We released our latest issue, sent Galentine’s Day Cards to women in STEM all over the country, closed out our Princesses with Powertools 2022 Calendar donation program, and held our first in-person Princesses with Powertools event!

Reinvented Magazine published our tenth issue in January featuring founder and tech entrepreneur Naomi. In celebration of National Mentoring Month in January, this issue included multiple articles related to how to find a mentor, how to maintain a relationship with your mentor, and how to be an effective mentor. This issue also included another DIY, this time walking our readers through the science behind bath bombs.

We also closed out our 2022 Calendar donation program. We are so excited to announce that our calendars went to classrooms all over the United States where over 28,000 students will see them and be inspired by our princesses every day. We also attended the Indian River STEAM Fest in Vero Beach, FL where our princesses had a booth. This was our first in-person Princesses with Powertools event of the new year and our princesses taught 180 students how to use their first powertool over the course of the day. Plus, nearly 70% of those students had never used a powertool before meeting our princesses!

Finally, to celebrate Women’s History Month we are gearing up for the release of our eleventh issue, featuring an amazing female pathologist, and are currently selling our ‘Stay Curious’ t-shirts in line with this year’s women’s history month theme of ‘breaking the bias.’

Reinvented's 2021 Year in Review

Happy Holidays Friends!

Reinvented Inc. has officially entered Q4 of 2021 and while we are so excited to see what 2022 brings, we also can’t help but celebrate all of the success we’ve seen over the past 12 months! So let’s take a look at our year in review:

This winter, we’re grateful for you: our number one fan. It’s honestly been an incredible year for Reinvented, all thanks to your infinite love and support for our programs. We truly would not be making this big of an impact without each and every one of you.

Reinvented Magazine celebrated our second birthday on May 20, 2021. Since the start of the year, we’ve published our seventh, eight, and ninth issues (currently working on Issue No. 10) featuring empowering women in STEM.

Thanks to some really awesome donors, including the panel of ‘sharks’ on the Clubhouse show Pitch Your Nonprofit, our One-for-One Program reached more girls than ever before. As you all know, accessibility is HUGE for us. We want to make sure that everyone has access to our magazine regardless of socioeconomic status or location, and that’s why we donate magazines through this program. This year we donated nearly 6,000 magazines where nearly 4,000 of them specifically went to girls in low income and underserved areas.

At the start of the pandemic we kickstarted our series of virtual events, like STEAM Dreamers, Invent with Reinvented, and Byte Sized. Those programs continued to thrive and grow in 2021. We even hosted our first Reinvent-a-thon, a free, virtual STEM competition filled with speakers, STEM activities, AND a mentorship program. We had over 150 participants from all over the globe and received many very impressive entries!

Our Teacher Care Packages were back this year and were yet again a huge hit! Thanks to our sponsors (big shout out to L3Harris for being our presenting sponsor again) we were able to sponsor 238 teachers, sending each a care package filled with goodies specifically geared towards teachers and their mental health.

Finally, when we merged with Beauty and the Bolt at the end of last year, we took over their Princesses with Powertools Program. While COVID didn’t allow us to attend events last year, we brought the program to 3 events this year. I think our princesses can officially consider themselves jetsetters since they’ve taught over 5000 girls how to use their first powertool in 3 different states! We even have events and event requests lined up for next year already!

And P.S. our 2022 Princesses with Powertools Calendar is now available for purchase so you can have some princess empowerment up in your home all year round! Plus, they make for phenomenal holiday gifts!

Reinvnted's Quarter 3 Update (2021)

Hello again!

Reinvented Magazine is pushing through the third quarter and working towards getting our events and content to others as we continue spreading our mission.

From August 23rd to August 29th, Reinvented Inc. will be hosting its first ever Back to School Virtual Auction through Rallyup! This auction will be used as a way to raise funds for our organization’s operations and ultimately help us spread the word about Reinvented to girls in need of STEM resources. Reinvented will advertise the auction items through our social media starting August 11th, so stay tuned!

In addition, Reinvented brought back our Teacher Care Packages this year. Teachers have been selflessly putting their students first to assure that their education is at its peak, which often means less time for teachers to think about themselves. Reinvented Inc. is partnering with L3Harris to provide a 100% free care package to nominated teachers that include a copy of Reinvented Magazine, planner, stationary set, bath bomb, relaxing face mask, coffee packs, chapstick, and much more! We have reached over 200 nominations already and have opened up our wait list linked here. We are also looking for our amazing donors to sponsor a care package so we can get these fully funded and start to get teachers off our waitlist. Lastly, Reinvented Magazine’s Issue No. 9 is back-to-school themed! It features content, including exclusive feature interviews with makers Estefannie, Xyla Foxlin, Ruth Amos, and Becky Stern! This issue also has articles on resume building, a how-to guide on developing your first app, and so much more!
