When A Child Just Wants A Pencil To Learn

By Prisha | Project Volunteer

Hi There Lovely Donors Around the World,

I hope this message finds you well. We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our Education for All project, which has made a profound impact on children living in poverty in Kerala, South India.

Thanks to your donation, we have successfully provided 120 stationery packs to children who previously lacked the basic supplies needed to attend school. These packs, which include essential items like pens, pencils, notebooks, and school bags, have helped these children access their education with dignity and confidence.

Impact of Your Donation:
  • 120 children in rural and underprivileged areas of Kerala have received the essential materials they need to attend school regularly.
  • With the new stationery packs, these children are now able to complete assignments, participate in classroom activities, and engage fully in their education.
  • Your support has also helped reduce absenteeism, with many students now attending school more regularly, thanks to the provision of necessary school supplies.

This initiative directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), as well as SDG 10 (Reduced Inequality), by helping children from marginalized communities gain access to education that can transform their lives.

The Road Ahead:

While this milestone is a significant achievement, we recognize that there are still many more children in need. Our goal is to expand this project, providing school uniforms, additional stationery, and other educational resources to children who would otherwise not have the means to attend school.

With your continued support, we can reach even more children, empowering them to unlock their potential and build a brighter future.

Thank you once again for being a part of this important work. Your generosity is making a real difference, and we look forward to keeping you updated on the progress of this project. Please also remember tuesday 3rd December is Giving Tuesday, the biggest giving day of the year, plus donations are matched by GlobalGiving so it is a great opportunity to support us once again

If you would like to contribute further or learn more about how your donation is making an impact, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,
