Supporting farming families
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing life-support to poor farming families. The sudden and severe changes in climate is destroying a lot of crops and livestock making farmers poorer and poorer. There is indeed a need to provide help to them so that they are able to survive the ravages of weather. Our strategy is to focus our support to their needs concerning water, sanitation and farming livelihoods. The support for water and sanitation is done by providing low-cost sanitary toilets, rainwater harvesting facilities and gravity-fed water system. Meanwhile our farming support is focused on small-scale integrated farming activities that mix small animals like ducks, pigs and chicken and the growing of staple crops and trees. This reporting period we are able to support 134 farming families with various farm inputs such as seeds and organic fertilizer.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario

Supplies distribution
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing life-support for farmers. Small, marginal farmers eking an existence in mountain areas have greater and greater difficulty nowadays in earning income from their farms because of unpredictable weather conditions. Sometimes the rains are extreme or the hot season is too long destroying their crops and livestock. This reporting period, we focused our support to 3 villages and provided a total of 120 farmers with household supplies like mosquito nets, blankets as well as vegetable seeds in order for their lives to be more bearable. We are also coordinating with government agencies like the department of agriculture for farming support to the farmers and with the health department for medical help.
Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario

A mountain girl de-husking corn
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing life-saving support for poor farmers. This reporting period I am happy to announce that harvest season for corn is on-going and the harvest is good. We have provided 120 farming families with technical advice, seeds, organic fertilizer and transport service in order to transport their corn production. Aside from corn the farmers are raising vegetables and root crops that they use for their own personal consumption. The root crops are taro, cassava and sweet potato. Bananas are also raised providing the farmers with much-needed nutrition enough for the coming of the next planting and harvest season. We also trained farmers to raise a few small animals such as chickens and pigs which they will be able to sell when they are fat enough.
Again, thank you very much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario
