Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project providing life skills to single mothers. Last reporting period we focused our assistance to those affected by Typhoon Vinta with emergency relief in mind and taking into consideration the situation of single mothers. This reporting period, we were able to provide meals to 130 children of single mothers who were affected by the typhoon. Thanks also to other donors who have provided support. While doing the distribution of meal packs, we interviewed also single mothers in the area what life skills they need. Most of them voiced the need for farm-based skills such as vegetable gardening and the raising of small animals such as goats, chickens and ducks. The life skills will follow later as the situation normalizes.
