Gregoire Ahongbonon, founder, continues to do a fabulous job of finding resources when they are scarce. The pandemic has hit hard in India which is our major supplier of medications. Diversification of medication supplies and funders is a complex goal that we continue to address rigorously. Treatment has proceeded as usual and a cohort of students (recovered patients) are in nursing training in Burkina Faso to ensure a steady flow of help.
In April 2021, Gregoire was named an humanitarian by the prestigious Aurora Foundation. Please enjoy the short linked slide show about his life's work. It can be found on the Aurora Foundation website.
