Saving Girls From Female genital Mutilation/Cut.

Dear Esteemed Friends and Partners,

Am priviledged to update you in our progress in eradicating Female Geneital Mutilation/Cut (FGM/C), Its a continuous process year in year out. Current statistics show it is now at 21% and dropping, due to your continuous support, this is made possible. Please be part of this Anti FGM campaign throughout the year.

We conduct advocacy ant FGM/C campaigns in remote areas of Tharaka Nithi, Embu and Meru counties and in slums of Nairobi where the practice is rampant. Every year and every month  we sensitize the community on dangers of FGM/C and empower women and girls to claim their rights. To do the Campaigns we need to raise funds to meet the needs of the advocacy campaigns that help save girls from the outdated practices of FGM/C .

High cost of living and other Social and economic strains have not only made women and girls been more prone to  FGM/C but also to physical and sexual exploitation and violence with increase in forced child marriages in exchange of dowry to cushion families from economical crises.

We conduct advocacy  workshop across the year to sensitize the community on dangers of FGM and empower women and girls to claim their rights. To do the workshops we need to raise funds to meet the needs of the workshops. We appeal for your support for the upcoming Ant FGM workshops.     .

This has reversed our already made gains in stopping FGM/C. To continue with our Anti FGM/C campaign in these villages we need to raise more money and partner with like minded organizations and individuals to sensitize the communities on dangers of FGM/ C through workshops organized at grassroots level.
