We are excited to present this report covering the impact of Distribute Aid’s Ukraine response. From October 2022 to December 2023, we managed to send eleven full containers of aid to support the humanitarian response to Russia’s war on Ukraine. We sent shipments to two locations in the context of this response: Tulcea and Odessa. These shipments have resulted in meeting 216,206 critical human needs of civilians affected by this conflict. Moreover, we were able to deliver $689,720 in value to the end beneficiaries of this aid. We have overcome logistics challenges, strengthened our partnerships, and built our networks.
As we enter 2024 at DA, we are excited to tackle the upcoming challenges of changes to receiving hubs, consignees, and customs routines in Ukraine and look forward to keeping this route open. We are also looking forward to expanding our horizons by shipping to new destinations in 2024.
