Dear Friend , i hope this finds you well. As we approach this year’s Women's Day on 8th March, I want to bring attention to a critical issue affecting millions of girls worldwide; the lack of access to affordable menstrual products. In Uganda, girls are forced to use unhygienic materials, such as old sponge leading to health problems, missed days of school and stigma. But we can break this cycle.
Kyobe Foundation’s ‘Free Butterfly’ pad project aims to make and provide 7500 reusable menstrual kits to 7500 girls in Tororo district. Each kit is hand made with love and care and includes; 4 reusable pads that last up to 4 years, a carrying bag for discreet storage and a leaflet with information on menstrual education and hygiene. Your donation of just $5 can help make this a reality.
By supporting our project, you'll be helping girls stay in school, maintain their dignity, and reduce waste.
Consider donating today on the link below and leave a message of support to the girls which will be featured on our website. Thank you for your support.
