In all things we should give thanks, said Mrs. Emmanuel
The Emmanuels have gone through a lot of difficulties and they are still going through however in different dimension. Remember in our last report on May 15, 2018, we mentioned on how the Emmanuels were presented with a Rick-Shaw (Maruwa) for transportation for empowerment in other for him to feed and maintain his family. Unfortunately on 2018, Mr. Emmanuel had an accident with his Rick-Shaw. Thank God he only sustained a minor injury but the Rick-Shaw was damaged. Mr. Emmanuel Presently using a motorcycle (Okada) for transportation. HRHF supported him with N25, 000 when he purchased the motorcycle. He
On May 26, 2018 Mrs. Emmanuel was hired by HRHF at the orphanage home as one of the care giver for the 9 children in the home and she’s allowed to bring her own 3 little children to work while her other 3 children are in school. She is very happy and appreciative of this opportunity.
The unpleasant situation that the Emmanuel are facing at this point is the fact that they have to move from their present 2 bed rooms apartment, where they currently resides to a one bed room with a living room on the 30th of August 2018. This was due to their landlord being very uncooperative, mean and petty with this family because their children are too many, the children makes so much noise while playing in the compound and so many other reasons that they were accused of, which were not true after our investigation. HRHF paid a sum of N200, 000 for this new apartment and moving expenses for this family. Prayerfully after this year’s rent paid by HRHF, the family will have been able to save enough money, have a good financial stability and pay for their next rent that will be due in September 2019.
Despite all the above mentioned challenges, the children are doing wonderfully well in school, feeding well, very healthy. No ER visits or hospitalization, praise God.
We really appreciate all our donors for giving this family a meaningful life. The Lord will not forget your labor of love.
