Relocation of the Emmanuels to their new furnished 2 bedrooms flat

By Titi Lawal | President/CEO

On September 15, 2017, life changed completly for the Emmanuels family, when they were relocated by Hope Rising Homes Foundation into a furnished 2 bedrooms flat in Ikola, Ipaja Lagos state, Nigeria. The family were very surprised and astonished, filled with tears of joy, on their knees shouting and praising God aloud. Mr. Emmanuel expecial, was not himself for couple of hour in disbeleive that this changes can actually happened to his family. The children were filled with joy, jumping on their bunk beds. This family now have a running water, electricity, bathrooms, a television, living room funishure, refrigirator, kitchen with gas cooker and utencils, which they never had before, where they were living in the hut built with plank in Okobaba, Ebute-Metta Lagos Nigeria. 2 months worth of groceries purshased and stored in the kitchen.

The Nation News Paper of Nigeria covered the event and tagged this as "Foundation lifts family of 8 out of poverty." Indeed that is what it's all about.

On September 18, 2017, the 3 school age children, started school at St. Andrew Prymary School Ipaja. Remember this children didn't attend school last year. The oldest boy that is 10years old was tested academically to determine the appropriate class to place him. To the principal and the teachers surprise, the boy passed the exam with flying colores and he was placed in Prymary 3. Comparing this family's current pictures with the previous pictures before their encounter with HRHF, there has been a significant changes in there appearances, outlook, mental allertness and hope has returned back to the Emmanuels family.

Getting the Emmanuel chidren settled in school, Monthly feeding, gas for the generator and to pump water every otherday into water tank, monthly electricity bill, staffs salary, transportation, office rent and misellaneous has cost HRHF $3,200.00 this quater.

The President of HRHF and the entire board of trustees, sincerly appreciate and thank all our donors that is making this possible for the Emmanuel family. The Lord will not forget your labour of love. We give God all the glory.
