Hello Friends,
It is currently the rainy season in Tanzania, so the one time of the year when there's enough water in the region. Despite the lower need for water from our boreholes, we have still been working with the local communities to educate on the importance of clean water, and encourage its increased uptake across the region.
To this end, we are excited to be in the process of planning to drill a new borehole in one of the local sub-villages to Terrat. We are currently conducting hydrological surveys to evaluate the chance of success in this village, but we are hoping to proceed shortly - our education on clean water, aided by your generous support, has made clean water access become a priority for this village. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the surveys allow us to proceed in the region, and we will as ever report back to you on our progress.
We thank those of you who have supported this critical cause over the past quarter, and - as ever - if you are able to share this project with friends and relations, we and the population of Terat Village in Northern Tanzania would be extremely grateful.
Many thanks, and best regards
Kirsten and the SVRG Team
