Rora Before Rescue
Rora (Aurora) came into the PNE family in June 2021. She was found as a stray as a new mom (no pups were found), suffering from a terrible pelvic injury, with embedded collar scars and skin that was covered in mange. She was scooped up and headed over to Memphis Veterinary Specialists where they provided her with love and care to nurse her back to health for six full months.
In January 2022, she was well enough to travel to New England on New Year's Day. She arrived to her foster mom on a foggy winter morning and was petrified after her long journey north. In her new foster home, she spent six weeks exploring the sand and snow and learning to trust her new surroundings until being officially adopted on February 15, 2022 into the most loving forever home imaginable.
Now Rora's days are filled with adventures and cozy/luxurious beds to rest her beautiful head! Her new mom provides detailed updates every Sunday and declares,
"Rora is a dream! I feel so lucky to have had her enter my life. She makes me laugh everyday and charms each person she meets. Her confidence is continuously growing and each day I marvel at how far she has come! I'm grateful to be Rora's fairytale ending."
Rora never stops smiling and enjoys meeting new friends out on hikes and immersing herself in nature (flowers, rivers, fields) followed by many spa days to ensure that her coat stays shiny and healthy. Her adopter provides her with endless amounts of love and comfort and is always ensuring that Rora has the best of everything.
She's grateful to PNE for giving this lovely girl a chance at a better forever - and she certainly got it!
