Project Report | Jul 13, 2021
Sergio is growing very fast!

By Cecilia Rodriguez | Project Leader

Sergios Collage

In this opportunity, we want to talk about Sergio, who is a talkative child, and he develops like any other little one. He is in the 3rd. Primary grade and his favorite course is mathematics, he practices soccer in the goalkeeper position. He also enjoys playing Free Fire with his 9-year-old friend Yenco.

In the accident, he remembers that her dog “Charllotte” disappeared and that she was also affected by the fire, however, after a few weeks they found out that the dog was fine, but that she had been picked up and admitted to a veterinarian, where after 5 months was discharged; today he has another companion called “Pulgoso”, whom they found on the street and decided to adopt him. Sergio really enjoys playing with his pets.

In the following video you can see Sergio in his therapies, he has already been in treatment for more than a year and specialists say that it is likely that as he grows and due to the complications of his scars, he will require surgeries to improve the function of his upper and lower limbs.

We thank you for providing support to 4 patient victims of the tragedy that occurred in Villa El Salvador, the same one that has almost reached the goal, so if you wish to continue collaborating with the treatment of burn children, we invite you to join our new project Let's give hope to 150 burned children in Peru.

All the best for you!

With gratitude,

The whole Team ANIQUEM
