Heat Wave

By Rafea Khatak | Project Supervisor

Heat and humidity has become unbearable.  It's August and Karachi is truly a desert.  Some of the most vulnerable in Pakistan are the orphans and the cooling can help keep their body temperature safe and not overheated.

Your generosity has helped so many deserving children. The cool breeze helps them sleep and the comfort is helping with her mental health, but now with the heat so unbearable, cooling is not just about comfort, but about safety.

Children - and even adults - can die from overheating.  In the West, there are occasional stories of children dying because they were left in the car and overheated. Imagine dying in your own bed, where you live, because the shared room has overheated.  Help us help those in need.

Thank you for continuing to support this cause. Please spread the word.
