We trust you are well and our email finds you in good spirits.
We are slowly approaching the end of summer in Romania and with that we have a new start of the rugby season.
Rugby in particular and sport in general has been heavily affected because of the worldwide pandemic. However, for us, this means we will have to continue to stay focused and contribute even more to the further development of rugby; but more so to the further development of youngsters through rugby.
Therefore, next week we will launch our fifth edition of Rugby for all - one of the most complex non formal educational programs in Romania that supports junior rugby players from disadvantaged backgrouds. The project supports 40 youngsters on an annual basis. This year, we are opening up to fill at least 15 places that have been vacated due to our mentees finishing high-school and making their next move in life.
Rugby in particular, and sport in general is probably one of the most powerful tools we have at hand to generate change within our community.
