Christmas Party held on Dec. 23, 2019
Our 2019 Christmas party was phenomenal; we bless God for his mercy and grace for a successful fun day. The program was started with prayer and ended with prayer for the children, our donors, our directors and everyone that were present.
The children of HRHF were celebrated; they had lots of fun with different types of activities. Other children in the community were privileged to enjoy Christmas celebration as well.
The HRHF’s administrator was also present at the celebration all the way from the USA. Her opening remarks were very inspiring and it encourages, donors, government and the care givers to be able to do more for the children. She encouraged all the children that were present to stay in school and to remain focus. She also dedicated our new baby boy that joined the family of Hope Rising Homes Foundation on Dec. 17, 2019 and blessed him with prayers.
The children in the home welcomed the visitors with welcoming songs and also Christmas Carroll. The clown indulged the children in playing some games, moon bouncing, and dancing competition. 72 children in total went home with a bag, packed with 6 different types of toys, a note book, food and drinks. The Christmas celebration also births the adoption of 20 widows in the community. The widows went away with some food items, a 6yards Ankara and N1000 each to sow the Ankara. They all went home happy, rejoicing and were very grateful.
During this Christmas celebration, a plaque of appreciation was also presented to Abe Igi Abesan Association for their outrageous love, unending care and affection which encompass the community at Large. This group of men has a heart of gold; they all grew up in Abesan Estate in Ipaja, Lagos. Their mission is to give back to the community, mostly to the younger generations what they lack when they were growing up. They inspire the young children in the community to stay in school and to focus. They sponsors school inter house sports competitions for public schools and many more charitable events that they have organized and sponsored.
We are using this medium to thank and appreciate all our donors, people who believes in our mission and who want to see us grow, the Lord will not forget your labor of love.
