Dear Friend,

Thank you for your past donation to this project. This is just a quick update to share the good news that we are back in the field for the nesting season of the Cyanoptera macaw.

With your help our community rangers and bird technicians have cleaned nest activities to remove bees and other insect pests that coudl pose a threat to baby macaws. Now it is time for us to stand watch for nesting macaws and for any threats from poachers.

Thanks to your generosity, the children in our Jr. Ranger program have been learning about the wonders of parrot species, including the macaw. This month, the children participated in a poster contest for art works promoting the protection of any parrot species. These children are motivated to slow poaching.

As we launch another macaw protection season we need your help. This is Central America's last pacific coast population of Cyanoptera macaw. You can give hope to the species' survival and the opportunity for local communities to benefit from ecotourism. Please consider renewing your gift to this project at this important time, when we are just starting the nesting season.

And again, thank you for your incredible support.
