However, in the last five years, we have witnessed incidents that we had never encountered before..The ongoing conflict in Ethiopia not only has resulted widespread destruction of livelihoods ,but also further endangering the endemic wildlife Walia Ibex,,Nyal one of Ethiopia's endemic species, is endangered due to habitat destruction & the impacts of war. The ongoing conflict war in Ethiopia have severely disrupted livelihoods, a, but also pushing the country's endemic species closer to extinction. Habitat destruction and the loss of vital resources have further harmed wildlife, with species like the Walia Ibex and Mountain Nyala facing increasing threats. This crisis is worsened by agricultural expansion, livestock grazing, and human encroachment, placing these endangered animals at ahigher risk of disappearance.
This project will provide essential equipment, including uniforms, shoes, & monitoring tools, for 30 National Park Rangers protecting wildlife in three parks. It will used train local communities and awareness campaigns on the importance of conserving the Walia Ibex and Nyala. Donation will train 30 rangers & police, est Wildlife Veterinary clinic, help evacuate 100 illegal settlers, offering housing and livelihood support and for technology-based surveillance systems and vehicles
