Compassionate hearts make a difference and your support brings life anew!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

A medical response saves a child from drowning and death...

In a critical moment between life and death, the child (H.B.) — not yet a year and a half old — arrived at the Martyr Waseem Hassino Hospital in a state of cardiac and respiratory arrest due to drowning.

Without hesitation, the hospital staff mobilized all their efforts, beginning a rescue mission that embodied the highest meanings of humanity and compassion. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was performed urgently, secretions were suctioned from the airway, and a nasogastric tube (NGT) was inserted to remove stomach fluids. Back blows and resuscitation efforts followed — executed with precision and speed — until hope returned with the child’s first faint cries… the sound of life coming back.

It was an unforgettable moment when the heartbeat returned, and the child began to breathe again. This was followed by meticulous care: warming, oxygen-supported nebulization, gradual stabilization of the condition, and finally transferring the child to the Children’s Hospital for continued treatment. Today, by the grace of God, the child is doing well.

But this rapid and successful response would not have been possible without your generous support.

Your contributions are what provided the resources, the equipment, and the compassionate hands that saved this precious life.

Thanks to your giving, this child was able to return to his mother’s embrace, and hope was restored to a family that was moments away from heartbreak.

Every donation from you is a heartbeat of life… and every act of support writes a new story of hope.

With sincere gratitude,
