While his twin brother died, the newborn baby, Ghiyath, was able to reach the hospital alive weighing 800 g, and in the stage of extreme prematurity (only six months of pregnancy). The team of Al Ikha Hospital managed to save his life and return him safely to the arms of his parents.
We thank you for your continued support for this campaign. You are the hand that relieves pain and saves lives, and since you are part of our team and part of the lives of these newborns, we invite you to contribute to help us save more little lives.
Your continued contribution to this campaign means a better life and better health for the newborns and their mothers.

Your donation keeps them under care for a longer period instead of leaving them in their death tents

What is most distressing for parents is when their child is born sick, but this does not apply to the family of a child born in a camp in northern Syria, because the camp has already turned into a place of death and a cemetery for nearly 20 children so far. Therefore, when children are brought alive to the hospital, we cannot discharge them as we fear that they might die from the extreme cold inside the tent!
We, the children we care for, and their parents, are grateful to every donor who helped us through our previous campaigns. Your donations were the direct cause of saving more newborns through the expansion of a neonatal ward and an intensive care unit within our hospitals. Thank you from the heart.
We urge you again to be the lifeblood of the newborns so that we can keep them in our arms for a longer period and not risk leaving their little bodies exposed to possible death.

We are determined to save the lives of more newborns in northern Syria!

We face the darkest moments when opening an incubator to see a newborn baby a lifeless body after we hoped for its recovery. Your support helped us reduce these awful moments, thanks for your generosity.
In these difficult times, our specialized hospitals in newborn care are currently suffering from an acute shortage of resources and lack of funds, and our medical staff works voluntarily when the funding ends because saving a soul is the essence of our mission and goal.
While we celebrate the birth of around 1500 newborns every month, we still lose a little soul from time to time.
We do not want the lack of support to be a reason for losing more young lives or adding to the tragedy of the displaced families in northern Syria.
You are the hotline that we contact every time to support the lives of the most vulnerable. We still need your support to make their first moments part of longer lives.
