The second semester has started for children in Thai schools. If you sponsor a child you will be recieving an individual update very soon.
Our most recent case is a family of 6 who were rescued from a very poor situation with no water, electricity and very little foodand clothing. The youngest is 2 years old and she is the daughter of a 16 year old girl who had been abused. They also lived with the grandmother who had 3 other children of her own. The family has moved into Nong Palai which is the free housing estate run by Hand to Hand Foundation. The mum and grandma are currently not working because they don’t have a Thailand ID card, nor education or working skills. Our staff is working to locate accurate identification so that they can get government ID cards and the children can get proper birth certificates.
The youngest child has a sponsor but the eldest 3 still desperately need sponsors. The children are in grades KG, 2 and 4.
If you are able to sponsor any of these children they and we would be very appreciative.
Thanks for all your support.
